Collection & Request Instructions:
This is a GENETIC test. Please collect in a separate tube. If no separate tube is available give sample to scientist for sterile aliquoting BEFORE any further processing. Blood is the preferred tissue for testing for a WT1 mutation in constitutional disorders. Please collect 2 mls EDTA blood for this test. For somatic WT1 mutation testing in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), bone marrow is the preferred tissue. Please collect 0.5mls bone marrow for WT1 testing in AML.
