For clinical utility the IKAROS gene test is performed on B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (B-ALL or pre B-ALL) bone marrow only at disease diagnosis. This is a MOLECULAR test. Please collect in a separate tube. If no separate tube is available give sample to scientist for sterile aliquoting BEFORE any further processing. Handle specimen tube with gloves. The specimen must be received on a weekday within 3 days from collection. Store specimen at room temperature until sent.
